Dispatch Days & Times
- All orders are sent via Australia Post Express Post. Please go to their website to Track an Item.
- Orders are dispatched on: Mondays and/or Tuesdays only.
- Ordering Cut-off Time is: Midnight Saturday night in order to receive it within the following week (usually the Tues, Wed or Thurs). All orders placed after this time will be shipped the following Monday or Tuesday. No exceptions.
- You will receive a confirmation email from us, which will include Tracking info.
- If you would like to place an order and delay the shipment date of your package, please make a note of it when placing your order, and we will ship it as per your request.
- Express Post guarantee currently suspended; Express Post remains our fastest postal delivery option, however please note that some orders are taking 2 days rather than one. This can vary depending upon your postcode.
Orders Containing Live Minibeasts
- All orders containing live minibeasts are sent via Australia Post Express Post.
- We only ship live invertebrates to NSW, ACT, QLD, Vic and SA within Australia.
Species from the unrestricted list are now also available for shipment to Tasmania. Please see list of Unrestricted species. - Some species are only seasonally or occasionally available. We apologise for not having the species you want in stock.
- Our stock levels can change rapidly and unexpectedly, especially our live invertebrates. Some orders may need be delayed for a week or two, so we can replenish stocks for shipment. Your patience is appreciated.
- We will not photograph individual animals so that you can choose a specimen.
- Please do not ask for freebies or donations, although sometimes we may throw something in!
- We will not take orders over the phone under any circumstances.
- Pick up is not possible at this time.
- We do not export overseas (out of Australia) under any circumstances. Orders placed via international accounts will be cancelled and/or referred to the relevant Australian Government Authorities. Please do not attempt to place an order from anywhere outside of Australia. Our Australian wildlife is highly protected and such activity may result in Federal legal action.
Receiving Your Delivery:
- Please ensure there is a safe place for the courier or delivery driver to leave your precious parcel. Live invertebrates should be kept out of direct sunlight and rain, and away from animals that may damage the parcel such as cats, dogs or ravens!
- If you would like to request that your parcel be left somewhere in particular, please let us know or make a note when placing your order, and we’ll add it to the shipping label. (examples: “Please leave near front door”, or “Watch out for the dog!)
- Please open your parcel immediately upon receipt and check the health of your animal or other items.
Other Product Orders
- Orders that do not contain live animals are sent via Express Post, Regular Parcel Post or Courier.
- We ship our kits and other products anywhere within Australia.
- Larger and more fragile items such as the Reptile One Mini-T Cube tanks/kits are sent via courier.
Claiming the 10% Discount
Please be aware, that you are only permitted to claim the 10% discount once. Please do not attempt to sign up to our newsletter using a different email address. If you do claim the discount twice, your order will be cancelled and you will have to re-place your order.
Returns
- There are no returns or exchanges on live minibeasts. Please make your selection carefully.
- Deceased or Unwell Minibeasts: If you receive an animal and it is dead upon arrival or appears to be sick or dying, please take photos and video and email them to us immediately or within 12 hours of receiving the delivery. You must demonstrate that the animal is indeed dead or doing poorly for a replacement or refund.
- Have we made a mistake? Have we accidentally sexed your animal incorrectly? Please let us know!
- Other Broken/damaged items: If your items arrive damaged or broken, please take photos and submit to us via email within 12 hours of receiving the parcel to receive a refund or replacement.
Trading With Us
- We currently do not offer Wholesale on any of our livestock.
- Australian Trader Offers Welcome: If you would like to offer us something to trade with, please do so. We reserve the right to refuse any trade offer, however.
- Australian breeders and hobbyists are welcome to contact us regarding wholesale of their own stock. We reserve the right to decline such livestock deals however.

We value your feedback, whether it be negative or positive, and will not shy away from improving things wherever possible. Whatever the problem is, we are here to help work it out! Just drop us an email anytime!
Contacting Us
Please note, that we are not always in the office! We are often travelling and conducting incursions, workshops and exhibitions around NSW, and tending to our live invertebrate collection much of the time. We will get back to you as soon as we can. We thank you for your patience. If you need help with a minibeast you have purchased, the best contact option is email or the contact form on our website. Please do not send us important messages on social media. Also, you will probably find we are unable to answer the phone if you call, so always try to email us instead.
